Just relaxing...

My husband Rene and Sammy are watching the Dodger game. Boy was it a game to remember! bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and what happens?? wow...what a game!

This picture was in the middle of the game when they were losing. Should have taken another one at the end when they won!

Sammy can't believe it either...

Missed you...

Here we are again. Another weekend gone by...
and for the first time since Baby Dave was born; he was away from my home this past entire weekend. I missed him so much. He's back today. Can't wait to see him after work and hold him again.

I will remember you...

Baby Momma Amber

Doesn't my daughter look good for having a baby??

Here goes...(more...that is)

I just could not help it...here's one of my favorites. Isn't he georgous?? I guess I would say that. Why do I keep doing this? I always said I wouldn't do or say those corny grandma-thingys!

Sleepy Baby David....

I'm Back!!

Shame on me...I missed you all. My life must really be something, huh? Talk about being a busy mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt, friend, employee and best of all "Grandmother"; yes I'm one of those now. Meet my new grandbaby:

Happy Birthday To ME!!

Invitation to my 50th Birthday Lunch with my
co-workers. Oh my God! is this really my 50th?
I don't feel 50? Well I appreciate this so much from all my friends at my job. By the way...Salvatore's is a great Italian place located here in the suburbs of the city of Montebello (where I work).

I'll let you know how it goes...

Happy Valentine's

Day!

The Women Of JUAREZ

While this topic is somewhat controversial, it is very real. It involves the violent deaths of hundreds of women since 1993 in Cuidad Juarez, Mexico.

The women have been between 12 and 22 years of age. Many were students, and most were factory workers. A number were relative newcomers to Ciudad Juarez who had migrated from other areas of Mexico. The victims were generally reported missing by their families, with their bodies found days or months later abandoned in vacant lots or outlying areas. In most of these cases there were signs of sexual violence, abuse, torture or in some cases mutilation.

This photo is the theatrical production, which I have been invited to attend in April. Not sure what my reaction will be...

It started to rain today...

The day is changing into early evening and the rain is coming down. Seems like it was only yesterday when the sun was out and boy was it hot! Oh yeah...it was yesterday!
Only in California...
